June 28, 2017

Traci Curtin, President of RRR was invited to the BTIA (Belize Tourism Industry Association) meeting to discuss the plans tor Triple R Response.  Triple R Response was received with excitement and overwhelming support.  BTIA members responded with many great ideas and supplied numerous contacts to help ropel Triple R toward success.  BTIA stated that they support us 100% and would furnish a letter if needed.

June 29, 2017

Traci and Jim Curtin had the Honor of meeting Lt. Col. Rob Ramsey and his wife Erin in Ambergris Caye to discuss the recovery of RickiLee in hopes of shedding light on how we can improve search and rescue in the future.  Lt. Col. Rob stated he believed although he was changing assignments that his office would be able to assist us in our efforts.  He invited us to his Farewell dinner in order for us to meet his deputy and other officials to ensure support after his transfer. Rob and Erin both had several great ideas and ways we could utilize the military in our efforts to improve water emergencies on Ambergris.

July 3, 2017

Traci met with Billy Leslie head of the SPTGA, San Pedro Tour Guide Association.  Billy has done a lot of leg work to get us support and the ball rolling from the key people on Ambergris.  He is extremely eager, knowledgeable and knows all the people we need.  He will be our partner in Ambergris Caye and the key to our success there.  He is setting up a meeting for in August with the town council, key business owners, dive shop owners, Minister of Tourism and key boat operators to discuss or plans and steps to move forward.  

July 15, 2017

Jim and Traci Curtin attended Lt. Col. Rob Ramsey's farewell dinner in Belmopan, Belize.  This dinner allowed RRR to not only make new friends, but also form several key connections.  They had the honor of meeting Lt. Col. Rob Ramsey's deputy, Tchoia Brown, the Charge d'Affairres, Ms. Adrienne Galanek and Major Rich Graham from the marines in civilian affairs who were very excited with the possibility of getting involved.  We also met Rear Admiral John Borland of the Belizean Coast Guard and a General in the Belizean Defense Force who could be essential connections for RRR.
